CHICAGO - Given that the Chicago Bulls had key players coming back from injuries and newcomers trying to fit in, Joakim Noah figured there would be some difficult stretches. Jacob Josefson Jersey .The Bulls are in one at the moment. The Central division leaders have dropped three of four after winning 13 of 15 heading into Wednesdays game against John Wall and the Washington Wizards. This is our story, Noah said. This is the journey. In the season, theres always going to be ups and downs. When theres adversity, people (are going to show) their true colours. Thats the way it is. And were going through something right now. We got to stick together and make it work. The injuries, the new guys — we can make excuses, but this is who we are, he continued. Its not going to change. So its on us to fix it or its not going to work. For the most part, it has worked quite well for the Bulls. At 26-13, they are one of the favourites in the Eastern Conference even though Rose is still working his way back after two season-ending knee injuries and Noah is still adjusting after off-season surgery on his left knee. The reigning Defensive Player of the Year has also been slowed by a right ankle injury. That has not stopped the Bulls from dominating at times. The emergence of Jimmy Butler along with the addition of Pau Gasol gives Chicago one of the leagues deepest rotations.Even so, there are issues. The Bulls have allowed 100 or more points 18 times this season and are giving up just over 99 per game, after allowing a league-low 91.8 a year ago. They have also dropped seven games against teams with sub-.500 records, with five of those losses coming at home. Two were to Utah and Orlando during this 1-3 stretch. They also have shown times where theyve played great defence, coach Tom Thibodeau said Tuesday. So its in them. They did not show it against Orlando on Monday. The Bulls fell 121-114, with the Magic setting season highs for points and shooting (59 per cent) while snapping a six-game losing streak, and Thibodeau lit into the team afterward.Part of the problem is Noah still seems to be limited. He does not look as agile as he did last season and, at least on the surface, it appears he and Gasol have not quite meshed on the court the way the Bulls envisioned. There is more to it, though. You also have to ask whats happening with the ball? Thibodeau said. Its not just them. Its are we doing the proper things to direct the ball where it should go? Are the smalls coming at the bigs with speed? If we do go to help are we getting the proper support behind the ball?Thibodeau has trimmed Noahs minutes from 35.3 per game last season to 31. His rebounding is down from an average 11.3 to 9.6. But Thibodeau sees that knack for cleaning up on the glass returning and believes his game will be there at some point.Noah, meanwhile, wasnt about to make any excuses. He wasnt really interested in talking about the knee.Asked if he has been experiencing ups and downs with it, he answered no. Has there been a steady progression physically? Yes, he said.Ive just got to keep working, keep getting after it, he said. Im feeling better and better so Ive got to keep working. Taylor Hall Jersey . - While he appreciates suggestions from Packers fans of remedies for his sore left calf, Aaron Rodgers is not necessarily going to listen to the advice. Adam Henrique Jersey .Fucale will not only be one of the local boys, he is also a Montreal Canadiens draft pick and will have a huge cheering section when Canada opens the tournament Dec. http://www.nhldevilshockeystore.com/mike-cammalleri-jersey/ .  His recovery time is expected to be six to eight months. Seidenberg was injured in the third period of Fridays 5-0 victory over the Ottawa Senators, when he got his leg tangled with forward Cory Conacher. The Colts offence clicks, Washingtons does with a backup QB, the Falcons can fligh high and Murray is running away from the competition; all this and more in Scott Cullens 20 Points on NFL Week Three. 1. Colts QB Andrew Luck (31-for-39, 370 YDS, 4 TD) had his way against the Jaguars in Jacksonville. Luck threw for 330 yards in the first half. RB Ahmad Bradshaw (83 YDS, 1 TD, 11 touches) was slightly more productive than Trent Richardson (80 YDS, 17 touches), even on one of Richardsons more efficient days. 2. Washington QB Kirk Cousins (30-for-48, 427 YDS, 3 TD, 1 INT) started making a case to keep the starting job in his first start this season in place of an injured Robert Griffin III. The best thing for fantasy players is that Cousins got his work done down the field, hitting wide receivers Pierre Gardon (11 REC, 138 YDS, 1 TD, 16 targets) and DeSean Jackson (5 REC, 117 YS, 1 TD, 11 targets) for much of his yardage. TE Niles Paul (6 REC, 68 YDS, 9 targets) continued to get a lot of looks as Jordan Reeds injury replacement too. 3. Falcons WR Julio Jones (9 REC, 161 YDS, 2 TD, 11 targets) had a monster game against the Bucs, getting even more action with Roddy White out, and since the start of last season (among those with at least eight games played), Jones 118.1 yards per game is best among wideouts. 4. He lost another fumble, but Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray still found his way to 131 yards and a touchdown on 28 touches at St. Louis. Hes leading the league in rushing attempts (75) and his 385 rushing yards is 99 more than second-place Rashad Jennings of the New York Giants. Jennings rushed for a career-hgih 176 yards and a touchdown on 34 carries against Houston, 5. Eagles QB Nick Foles (27-for-41, 325 YDS, 3 TD) was strong against Washington and now lead the league with 978 yards passing through three weeks (326.0 per game), leaing Atlantas Matt Ryan by 13 yards. Eagles WR Jeremy Maclin (8 REC, 145 YDS, 1 TD, 10 targets) continued his strong start and rookie WR Jordan Matthews (8 REC, 59 YDS, 1 TD, 9 targets) was getting more looks than anyone else in the Philadelphia passing game. 6. Ravens WR Steve Smith (5 REC, 101 YDS, 7 targets) is off to a great start in a new city; his 290 receiving yards ranks sixth in the league, though it seems to be coming at the expense of Torrey Smith, who has been targeted 18 times in three games (6.0 per game), down from 8.56 targets per game last season. 7. Chiefs RB Knile Davis, running in place of Jamaal Charles, had 132 yards and a a touchdown, on 32 carries, at Miami. He lost one of his two fumbles, but still a strong showing overall. In Knowshon Morenos spot with Miami, RB Lamar Miller gained 132 yards on 19 touches against Kansas City. With Doug Martin still out, Bucs RB Bobby Rainey gained 105 yards on 18 touches against Atlanta. He lost a pair of fumbles, and it was a lot of garbage time production, because in that rout, there was a lot of garbage time, but Rainey is a good option as long as Martin is sidelined. Donald Brown got the bulk of the action in the Chargers backfield, gaining 89 yards on 36 touches against Buffalo. Not very efficient and with Danny Woodhead now out with a broken fibula, Brown is even more important to the Chargers hopes. Starting in place of an injured Arian Foster, Texans RB Alfred Blue, a rookie sixth-round pick, had 88 yards on 14 touches against the Giants. Vikings RB Matt Asiata had 71 yards on 15 touches at New Orleans. While there is talk that Minnesota really likes rookie Jerick McKinnon, he had eight yards on four touches. With Ray Rice gone and Bernard Pierce (thigh) out, Justin Forsett (65 YDS, 15 touches) and Lorenzo Taliaferro (91 YDS, 1 TD, 18 carries) handled the running game for the Ravens at Cleveland. Browns RB Terrence West (41 YDS, 1 TD, 14 touches) and Isaiah Crowell (5 YDS, 1 TD, 11 carres) split the backfield duties against Baltimore in the absence of Ben Tate. 8. Eagles RB LeSean McCoy, who took a big hit against Washington Sunday, struggled on his way to 22 rushing yards on 20 carries. Through three games, McCoy has 175 rushing yards (58.3 per game), down from last seasons average of 100.4 rushing yards per game. 9. Bucs QB Josh p;McCown has a sprained thumb, giving Mike Glennon an opportunity next week. Andy Greene Jersey. . Vikings QB Matt Cassel broke a bone in his foot, opening the door for rookie Teddy Bridgewater (12-for-20, 150 YDS; 27 YDS, six carries) to get into the lineup. Jaguars QB Chad Henne was pulled at halftime of the blowout loss to Indianapolis, giving Blake Bortles the ball for the Jags. Bortles (14-for-24, 223 YDS, 2 TD, 2 INT) will start for Jacksonville moving forward. 10. The Miami Dolphins arent happy about the performance of Ryan Tannehill (21-for-43, 205 YDS, 1 TD) against the Chiefs, to the point that head coach Joe Philbin wouldnt assure that Tannehill will start against Oakland next week. Matt Moore is the current backup, and doesnt really offer much reason to believe hell be an improvement, even if Tannehill has struggled a bit in the early going. 11. Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch (128 YDS, 2 TD, 29 touches) had a successful grind-it-out game against Denver. The Seahawks are leaning heavily on Lynch, who has 52 of the teams 62 running back carries through the first three games. 12. Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (11 REC, 149 YDS, 15 targets) is becoming a solid alternative for Peyton Manning in Denver and ranks third in targets, with 33, through the first three games. Good thing, since Demaryius Thomas has 13 catches for 141 yards and a touchdown through three games. Wes Welker had six catches for 60 yards, on nine targets, at Seattle in his first appearance of the season. 13. Time-shares: Bills RB Fred Jackson (112 YDS, 1 TD, 14 touches) had a more productive day than C.J. Spiller (62 YDS, 13 touches) in the Buffalo backfield. Lions RB Reggie Bush (99 YDS, 1 TD, 18 touches) was more productive against Green Bay than he had been in the first couple weeks. Joique Bell (33 YDS, 15 carries) was decidedly less productive than he had been. Saints RB Khiry Robinson had 69 yards on 18 carries against Minnesota, while Pierre Thomas (51 YDS, 1 TD, 11 touches) was still a valuable part of the offence. 14. The Saints again gave rookie WR Brandin Cooks (8 REC, 74 YDS, 10 targets) a bigger role in the passing game than Marques Colston (2 REC, 25 YDS, 1 TD, 5 targets). 49ers WR Stevie Johnson (9 REC, 103 YDS, 9 targets) and Michael Crabtree (10 REC, 80 YDS, 11 targets) were productive in a losing effort at Arizona. 15. With QB Brian Hoyer off to a strong start, there is value in WR Andrew Hawkins (21 REC. 244 YDS) and even Miles Austin (14 REC, 115 YDS, 2 TD), who are getting the bulk of Hoyers targets. 16. Jaguars WR Allen Robinson (7 REC, 79 YDS, 10 targets) is emerging as a big part of the offence, particularly with Cecil Shorts and Marqise Lee out of the lineup the past couple weeks. 17. Titans rookie RB Bishop Sankey (70 YDS, 11 touches) got more action in a blowout loss at Cincinnati. Does that give him a better chance to sooner unseat Shonn Greene from the starting lineup? 18. Rams QB Austin Davis (30-for-42, 327 YDS, 3 TD, 2 INT) had a strong game against Dallas, even if the Rams couldnt hold the lead. That kind of production gives Davis a chance to keep Shaun Hill from returning to the starting job. 19. Steelers RB LeVeon Bell (157 YDS, 23 touches) had a monster Sunday nighter at Carolina and second-stringer LeGarrette Blount (118 YDs, 1 TD, 10 carries). 20. Dolphins OLB Jelani Jenkins (15 tackles, 1.5 sacks), Cowboys OLB Bruce Carter (12 tackles, 1 INT for TD), Texans ILB Brian Cushing (17 tackles), Panthers MLB Luke Kuechly (14 tackles), Bills FS Aaron Williams (14 tackles), Cowboys ILB Anthony Hitchens (13 tackles), Bills ILB Nigel Bradham (13 tackles), Broncos LB Nate Irving (13 tackles), Cardinals FS Tony Jefferson (10 tackles, 1 sack), Colts ILB DQwell Jackson (10 takcles, 1 sack), Seahawks SS Kam Chancellor (9 tackles, 1 INT), Broncos OLB Brandon Marshall (12 tackles), Dolphins MLB Jason Trusnik (9 tackles, 1 FR), Rams CB Janoris Jenkins (5 tackles, 1 INT for TD), Colts CB Greg Toler (4 tackles, 1 INT for TD) Scott Cullen can be reached at Scott.Cullen@bellmedia.ca and followed on Twitter at http://twitter.com/tsnscottcullen.
